Despite the recent loss of comedy great Harold Ramis, Sony has announced plans to continue work on 'Ghostbusters III'. The script will call for minor tweaks, based on a planned cameo from Ramis and other original cast members, Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray.
Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, veteran writers from The Office will head the new installment. Ivan Reitman, who has directed two previous Ghostbusters films, will once again take the directing reigns.
The team of three will meet with Sony soon to discuss implications of Ramis' unfortunate absence and plan next steps.
