Twin Cities Fourth Of July Celebrations You Don't Want To Miss
Afton July Fourth Parade & Celebration
Location: Town Square Park
Date: July 4
Enjoy music and food in Town Square Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a parade starting at noon. From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. the Zingrays will perform Rock to the Oldies and Town Square will also have a playground for all ages.

Apple Valley Freedom Days
Location: Johnny Cake Park East
Date: June 29 – July 4
Events include live music on June 29 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., an amusement carnival on July 3rd at 5 p.m., a parade on July 4th that starts at 1 p.m. at Fireside Drive and Pennock Avenue and ends at Apple Valley High School; fireworks begin at 10:00 p.m.

Date: July 3
Kick off Independence Day festivities with live music and food starting at 5 p.m. A kid’s carnival will be available from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the fireworks will begin around dusk.

Chanhassen 4th of July Celebration
Location: City Center Park
Date: July 2 – July 4
Events include carnivals, live music, pony and camel rides, a kiddie parade, street dancing and on the 4th a parade starting at 2:30 p.m. in downtown Chanhassen. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. at Lake Ann Park.

Coon Rapids: July 4th Community Celebration
Location: Sand Creek Park
Date: July 3 – July 5
On July 3rd a parade will travel down Northdale Boulevard at 6 p.m., events on the 4th include food and live music, a Bean Bag tournament and a fireworks display will start at 10 p.m. On Saturday there will be a “Car Show to Remember” from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and live music.

Delano 4th of July Celebration
Location: 559 North River Street, Delano
Date: July 2 - July 5
Minnesota's oldest and largest 4th of July parade will begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Delano High School. A 30-minute fireworks show will begin at 10:30 p.m. on July 5th.

Duluth: Fourth Fest
Location: Bayfront Festival Park
Date: July 4
This is the Upper Midwest’s largest fireworks display, not to mention it all takes place with Lake Superior as its backdrop. There will be food and live music and fireworks begin at 10:10 p.m.

Eden Prairie: 4th of July Hometown Celebration

Date: July 4
Events include a Pickleball tournament, Optimists 5K run, canoeing, paddleboarding, face painting and henna. Live entertainment begins at 3 p.m. and fireworks start at 10 p.m.

Location: Lake Minnetonka and Commons Park in downtown Excelsior

Events include the Firecracker Runs, a kids’ parade that starts at 11 a.m. at 540 Lake Street and ends in the Commons, a Sand Sculpture Contest, a Popsicle Social, live music and a 4th of July Airshow. Fireworks will begin over Lake Minnetonka at dusk.

July 4th entertainment starts at 7 p.m. at Lakeville North High School and includes live music, temporary tattoos and concessions with fireworks starting at 10 p.m. Other events include a Grand Parade on the 12th beginning at 5:30 p.m. in Downtown Lakeville on Holyoke Avenue.

Fireworks begin at dusk on July 3rd. On July 4th there will be a 2 and 4 mile race beginning at 9:15 a.m. at Hay Lake School and a parade begins at noon along the main street of downtown Marine.

Powderhorn Park 4th of July Celebration
Location: Powderhorn Park, Minneapolis
Date: July 4
Events will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and include local talent, family friendly activities and great food vendors. Visitors are welcome to stay and enjoy canoeing, badminton, croquet, bocce ball, children arts and crafts, face painting and a bouncy castle. Afterwards you can head over towards the Mississippi River to enjoy fireworks.

Due to flooding the fireworks display has been moved from Harriet Island to the State Capitol Mall. The fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. and the mall will open to the public at 8 p.m.

Fort Snelling Independence Day Celebration
